As an annual convention, ANA Convention has burgeoned to a monumental event for the Nepalis in the USA. Such big events demand advanced planning and convenient location. Even though SF Bay Area is the second largest in the nation for conventions, the Convening Council felt that it was important to procure a space that can easily accommodate 5000 people in addition to providing a convention and city atmosphere. The Conveing Council collaborating with ANA has worked with the City of Oakland to hold the ANA Convention 2009 at the Oakland Convention Center and the adjoining Marriott hotel. This is the first time that ANA Convention will be held in a true Convention Center in a downtown city.
The cost of rooms are $89 per night from July 1st to July 5th 2009.
